My name is Emily. I smoke too many cigarettes, and go to sleep too late. I'm afraid of getting old. I believe in peace, love, truth, freedom, creativity, tenderness, and simplicity. I soak in everything I see. Knowledge is power, and ignorance is useless. I enjoy good company and a good conversation. I respect people with passion and talent. I'm extremely sentimental, and I have a complex fear of forgetting things. I have tons of project ideas in my head, but that's where they stay.

Starting Over

My hard drive broke a few months ago.
All my photos, videos, etc, were lost.
This is a huge, huge loss for me.
I took it in to the local computer repair shop, and I was told there was no way to retrieve them.
So, I'm starting over.
I've saved all the photos I have in various places on the Internet, but they are the re-sized images - I've lost the originals.

On a lighter note, I have the Internet again - so for the first time in over a year, I will be able to browse + be active on DeviantArt again.

Also, my sister and I are thinking about opening an Etsy account. I will be submitting photos of things we will be offering for sale, if anyone is interested!
